01Context & Scope

FARAMED AS is building an Integrated Management System covering quality, environment, and occupational health and safety across its activities: containerised commissioning infrastructure (such as mobile control rooms and special tool rooms), industrial wireless connectivity, IoT and AI tooling to generate and secure commissioning evidence, and execution services for commissioning and advanced loop check.

FARAMED AS operates under a single, coherent IMS, with aligned governance, structured processes, and clearly assigned responsibilities. This policy applies to all persons performing work under the control of FARAMED AS, including contractors, and includes compliance with customer and site-specific QSE rules.

02Policy Statement

We commit to delivering commissioning and industrial digital solutions that meet customer requirements, protect people, and reduce environmental impacts. This policy is appropriate to the purpose and context of our organisation — including the nature, scale and impacts of our activities, products and services, and the OH&S risks and opportunities arising from work performed under our control.

It provides the framework for establishing and reviewing our IMS objectives, and reflects our commitment to meet customer, statutory, regulatory, contractual, legal and other applicable requirements relating to our activities, deliverables, environmental aspects, and OH&S obligations.

Our Commitments

Applying risk-based thinking and a Plan-Do-Check-Act process approach, we translate this policy into concrete action across quality, safety, and the environment.

Quality & Performance

Right-first-time delivery

  • Apply risk-based thinking and a Plan-Do-Check-Act approach to prevent nonconformities, reduce rework, and protect schedule-critical paths.
  • Deliver commissioning deliverables, evidence packs, and technical performance with a focus on right-first-time acceptance.
  • Control outsourced processes and external providers so field execution is planned, competent, supervised and verified.
  • Maintain competence and operational discipline through defined roles, training, and controlled documented information.
Health & Safety

Protecting people on every site

  • Identify hazards, eliminate them where possible, and reduce OH&S risks using the hierarchy of controls, aligned with client permit-to-work systems.
  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions to prevent work-related injury and ill health.
  • Give particular attention to field-execution risks: electrical work, industrial environments, travel, fatigue, and site constraints.
  • Ensure competence and fitness for work, including medical and certification requirements where applicable.
  • Consult and involve workers in hazard identification, planning, incident reporting, and improvement.
Environment

Reducing our footprint

  • Apply a life-cycle perspective across design choices (hardware, energy, logistics), procurement, deployment, maintenance and end-of-life.
  • Protect the environment and prevent pollution through practical controls for waste and spill prevention.
  • Reduce waste and resource use on projects, promote re-use of equipment, and ensure compliant disposal, including WEEE and batteries.
  • Measure and manage travel-related impacts through planning, consolidation, and practical reduction actions.
Governance & Improvement

A learning organisation

  • Establish and review IMS objectives and action plans consistent with our strategic direction.
  • Verify conformity with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and customer requirements.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, delivery, environmental and OH&S performance, and overall IMS effectiveness.
  • Continually improve through corrective actions, lessons learned, investigations and management reviews.
  • Commit to transparent reporting and prompt corrective action to strengthen customer confidence and the protection of people.

Endorsed by leadership

This policy is maintained as documented information, communicated within the organisation, made available to relevant interested parties, and reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate.
